This is an MGB Roadster in very good condition with body and paintwork almost blemish-free and no corrosion. The underside appears corrosion-free and is waxoyl protected. The panel fit and shut-lines are very good and the side chrome strip is level (unusually!). The brightwork polishes up well.

The interior is a nice place to be with as-new black leather piped red seats, black carpet, a nice MotoLita alloy/wood steering wheel and all dash instruments functioning correctly. Inertia-reel seatbelts have been fitted for enhanced safety and also a 4-way flasher switch. There is a period-correct Motorola radio fitted and sun visors.

On the road ‘VPA’ drives nicely with very good oil pressure, responsive engine with a lovely MGB ‘rasp’ and smooth but positive steering and gear-change. The overdrive operates slickly and the servo’d brakes are nice and strong and pull up straight.

There is a spare wheel and jack & hammer bag in the boot, which remains in paint and can be seen to be very tidy and corrosion-free.

The weather equipment is in very good condition with the standard black vinyl soft-top (one tiny nick) with clear perspex windows and a cloth tonneau cover with centre zip.

In summary, an opportunity to own and enjoy a very good chrome-bumper Roadster which is looking very smart in Glacier White and a very nice, upgraded cockpit. Importantly, she is driving strongly and sounds lovely! The history file, including photos of the restoration, plenty of invoices and MoT certificates and the Heritage Certificate – which shows ‘VPA’ to be a matching numbers car - simply add to the car’s value and desirability.
