An original Home Market, Right Hand Drive MG TD in the very attractive Black/Maroon colour combination. The box file of history provides a good insight into the TD’s history, not least that it is one of only 385 Home Market TD’s manufactured in 1951.

MLW 188 is an older restoration showing a nice patina. It is a car which has been well maintained, as the invoices show, and used regularly. The car has a heater fitted – an optional extra in the day – and includes sidescreens, hood, tonneau and hood cover – mostly new in 2012. The tyres are nearly new – sitting on the original disc wheels and Octagon hubcaps and a chrome luggage rack is also fitted. The car was recently waxoyled and remains well protected. She starts on the button, has good brakes and direct, responsive steering and displays good oil pressure and low-normal water temperature when on the road.

This MG TD offers plenty of fun, summer country lanes motoring and can be a classic to enjoy or, should you wish, also to improve. The Home Market, RHD originality and MLW’s extensive history file only add to the desirability of this TD!
