The car was purchased as a dismantled project from a deceased’s estate (the 3rd owner and for nearly 25 years) and much of the earlier history is consequently not present. Importantly however, the rebuild history is detailed on the file. We note that the rebuild has been carried out to a high standard with very good panel alignment and shut-lines and nice ‘level’ chrome strips on the flanks.
The V5C and MoT test (valid to July 2015) accompany the car and FBL879E is of course tax free.
This MGB is driving very strongly with the fast-road spec engine certainly apparent, so too the large-bore exhaust – a lovely engine note but not too noisy! The on-road experience allied with the very smart interior certainly makes this a nice place to be! Looking stunning in the Oxford Blue paint, silver wheels and chrome brightwork, FBL879E presents a great opportunity to purchase a virtually ‘as-new’ MGB Roadster.
