A ground-up restored MGA Roadster with BMIHT Certificate confirmed details as follows:

• Chassis no: HDR43/53817
• Built: 30 June/1 July 1958
• Despatched: 1 July 1958

This MGA was initially exported to the USA and then imported to the UK in August 2011, whereupon it has undergone a full photographic, documented restoration and has been upgraded with an MGB engine, gearbox and overdrive unit.  The original 1500cc engine (and gearbox) remains with the car and is now also freshly rebuilt, so the MGA remains a matching numbers car.
