‘ROA’ is a very smart 280 SL, quite rare in manual gearbox form (5-speed), and rather more practical than the larger-engined versions.

The straight-6 and manual gearbox work very well on the road and she feels much quicker than one might imagine. The silver paintwork, matching hard-top, blue interior, navy blue cloth hood, and alloy wheels is a classic and very attractive M-B colour combination.

On the road, she drives very nicely with strong oil pressure, low/normal temperature (radiator just re-cored), very smooth and noise-free and the manual gearbox is slick and positive. The superb history, M-B documentation and low mileage add to a very attractive package. This is a ‘drive-away’ R107 series ready to enjoy over the coming Spring/Summer season!
