RetroMarques Ltd is pleased to offer for sale on behalf of the owner ‘OUL722F’, a stunning Jaguar S-Type 3.4 MOD saloon...
Developed by Jaguar as a more sophisticated and luxurious option to the Jaguar Mark 2, with the Mark 2’s live rear axle replaced by a system similar to the Mark X’s independent rear suspension and longer bodywork yet retaining the reputable in-line 6-cylinder engine, now on twin carbs.
The Mark 2 continued alongside the S-Type and Mark X initially and just under 10,000 3.4-litre cars were produced.
OUL 722F is an original Home Market RHD car, first registered on 31 July 1967 to a Mr Lucas in London and has been with the present, Jaguar-enthusiast owner for nigh-on 10 years.

As Autosport reported, the S-type was to prove faster across country than the Mark 2, with better cornering, better traction and a smoother ride for the rear passengers!
Whether you seek a grand tourer or sports coupe, the S-Type offers both, unusually, and with only circa 90 such Jaguars left on the road this is quite a rare model. With so much having been spent sensibly upgrading it and a good history file, surely this must be one of the nicest and most usable S-Types available today.
