  • Manufactured: 5th August 1975

Purchased by the present owner in early 2010, since when the Spider has undergone a significant programme of restoration work, mainly to the body, paint and interior where corrosion was removed and earlier, poor repairs were all rectified before a total respray in the correct original Alfa Romeo Rosso 514 ‘Farina Red’.

  • Twin Dellorto carbs
  • 5-speed gearbox – very smooth, no synchro problems
  • Refurbished, leather-covered seats

The owner has just completed a 2000-mile+ European tour in the Alfa which performed faultlessly, so we know it is driving well.  Now however, following a change in employment which means he has had to move to the Middle East, he has reluctantly decided to sell the car rather than have it stood not being used.
We have invoices for all the recent work and a comprehensive history file accompanies the car.

Overall, a Spider which looks and drives very nicely and, importantly, which is structurally very sound.  Genuinely, a ‘drive it away’ car with no foreseeable expenditure required!
