Originally exported to the USA, as the majority were, the car was brought back into the UK specifically for the new owner to compete in the Monte Rally - the papers are still with the car, as is a Heritage Certificate!
As a result, the car is equipped as a 'fast road car' with a Denis Welch lightweight head, disc brakes on the front, a semi-collapsible steering column and indicators fitted into the front sidelights and rear reflector pods (all of which are reversible mods should that be desired).
The car has undergone complete renewal of the interior and is sold with all new carpeting, rear-deck kit (behind the seats) and boot lining - the leather-work is in excellent condition (black). A full set of weather equipment is with the car.
The car has had a recent service, new MoT and has been checked throughout. It is freshly waxoyled underneath.
